About these terms

Not Just a Pretty Face (notjustaprettyface.uk) is run by Rene Mallett in the UK. By making or playing a game you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. How we handle your information is explained in our privacy notice.

It's a social game, not a dating agency. We don't vet, introduce or vouch for anyone.

Who can use it

• You must be 18 or over to make or play a game.
• One account per person. Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.

Your game

• Only use photos of yourself that you have the right to use. No photos of other people, children, celebrities or anything explicit.
• Your name, age and area must be true. Only give a town or area, never your home address.
• Your questions, answers and messages must not be offensive, hateful, sexually explicit, threatening or discriminatory.
• No adverts, selling, money requests, links to paid content or fake profiles.
• You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to store it and show it to people who open your game link, only for running the game. That permission ends when you delete it.

Playing a game

• Use your own real contact details when you send them to a creator.
• Winning doesn't guarantee a match. The creator decides, and if they don't reply within 14 days it's automatically a "not this time".
• Don't use contact details you receive for anything other than arranging to meet that person. Don't share them with anyone else.

Never allowed

• Harassing, threatening or abusing anyone, on or off the site.
• Pretending to be someone else.
• Scams, spam or asking anyone for money.
• Using bots, scraping the site or trying to break or get round its safety features.
• Anything illegal.

Reports and removal

Every game has a Report link. We check reports and can hide or remove any game or account that breaks these terms, without warning. If someone is at risk, we may contact the police.

Meeting safely

If you meet someone from a game:

• meet in a busy public place
• tell a friend where you're going
• arrange your own travel
• leave if you feel uncomfortable

We don't run background checks. You're responsible for your own decisions about who you meet. If something serious happens, contact the police and tell us at hello@notjustaprettyface.uk.

The service

• It's free. We may add optional paid extras in future. If we do, you'll see the price before you pay.
• We work hard to keep it running, but it's provided as it is. It may sometimes be unavailable, and features may change.
• We may stop the service. If we do, we'll give creators reasonable notice.

Our responsibility

We're not responsible for what users post, say or do, on or off the site, or for loss caused by things outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where it can't be limited by law, for example for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Your rights as a consumer under UK law are not affected.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the builder ("Delete my account"). We may close accounts that break these terms.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. If it's a big change, we'll email creators. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
